Ilene Segalove partnered with various artists and Carp June 24, 1977, during a single-day installation presenting videotaped portraits of five married couples in Los Angeles. Each individual endorses and comments on the convenience of the new "miracle" easy-care clothing fabrics, leisure suits and the no-ironing lifestyle in an artist-created environment at ARCO Plaza.

Gordon Matta-Clark expressed to Carp in 1977 that he wanted to do a major piece in Los Angeles where he would cut through a house prior to its demolition.
In coordination with Future Studio and as an installment of the Getty's Pacific Standard Time initiative, Carp revealed a selection of ephemera documenting performance and media arts by Bob Wilhite, Chris Burden, Vito Acconci, Kim Jones, Charles Christopher Hill, Alexis Smith, Richard Newton, Gordon Matta-Clark and Bruce Nauman, among other artists.
Bruce Nauman and Frank Owen teamed with Carp Oct. 30, 1975, during the West Coast premiere of their film at the Dickson Auditorium at the University of California, Los Angeles.
