With Carp's support, Diane Blell secured a full-page, black and white advertisement on the second page of Slash magazine, dated February 1978. At that time, the monthly publication carried a price of 50 cents per issue, along with a total circulation of more than 10,000 copies delivered from Los Angeles to readers around the word.

Michael Brewster teamed with Carp Jan. 28-30, 1977, during a site-specific soundwork installed in the 1928 pedestrian tunnel where Taraval Street meets the Lower Great Highway in San Francisco.
