With Carp's support, Chris Burden performed on commercial television a 10-second piece June 23-27, 1975—on channels aired throughout Los Angeles. Burden also presented a preview of his commercial to delegates of the American Association of Museums in Carp's suite at convention headquarters at the Biltmore.

With Carp's support, Diane Blell secured a full-page, black and white advertisement on the second page of Slash magazine, dated February 1978.
An evening of television presented by Billy Adler, sponsored by Carp and hosted by Stanley and Elyse Grinstein took place in Brentwood Nov. 20, 1975, and featured a six-foot screen.
Gordon Matta-Clark expressed to Carp in 1977 that he wanted to do a major piece in Los Angeles where he would cut through a house prior to its demolition.
